Code of Conduct WESTWIND 2026
Code of Conduct for WESTWIND Festival 2026 in Münster
We want everyone to feel safe and welcome at the WESTWIND Festival.
We can all contribute to creating that atmosphere. Therefore, we expect all organisers and participants of this year’s festival to act with mindfulness, respect and appreciation for one another. We also ask everyone to commit to the following:
• I do not condone discrimination of any kind. No one should be treated unfairly during the festival.
• Only “yes“ means “yes“. Nobody has to justify themself. I respect other people’s boundaries and accept their answers without hesitation or pressure.
• I do not condone violence of any kind. This includes physical attacks, bullying, humiliation, abuse of power, intimidation, emotional abuse and any other behaviour that may harm another person.
• If I notice that someone’s boundaries are being violated, I do not look the other way. I support the person a ected and, for example, ask if there’s anything I can do for them or go get help.
• I will not abuse my role and position in relation to other organisers and participants.
• I will speak respectfully and fairly about the di erent productions. If I express criticism, I will do this in a respectful and constructive manner.
• I respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others. I ask for consent before touching someone or taking a picture of/with them.
• I will consume alcohol and other drugs responsibly. I will not pressure others to participate.
We are looking forward to a great festival week with you during WESTWIND 2026!
