FRANJE is a captivating dance production in which three dancers experiment with elaborate costumes.
In an adventurous play with materials, the dancers discover how their bodies change shape. A patchwork of fabrics brings a colorful palette to life, inviting the audience to see themselves and their own playfulness. More and more colors and costumes appear on stage, until the dancers almost disappear into them.
Franje is the result of a collaboration between Alfredo Zinola Productions and the Belgian company tout petit. Choreographers Alfredo Zinola, Ciska Vanhoyland, and Lies Cuyvers share a fascination for creating dance for young audiences based on the interaction between dance and scenography and an intimate and playful connection with their audience.
