Which aspects of the invited productions can we capture through descriptions? Do they provide us any indication of future trends? And how can we learn – or even benefit – from their formats and themes for our own work?
In ten digital production talks, we want to name, question, search, collect, discuss and pinpoint – and in the process create a joint watch list, an archive of the present for the future of children's and youth theatre!
The production discussions will take place via Zoom. Each participant must provide his or her own device to access the event. Wi-Fi and comfortable seating will be available on the festival grounds.
Access codes and links will be made available during the festival, both digitally and analogue. Our staff on site will be happy to provide technical and organisational assistance, where possible, so that every festival participant can take part in these follow-up discussions.
Moderation
Thomas Lang
born in Hannover in 1949, studied literature, theatre and social sciences in Göttingen and Berlin, obtaining the degree of Magister. Pursued theatre education in theory and practice. From 1985 – 2000, director and artistic director of children’s and youth theatre at Staatstheater Braunschweig. From 2000 – 2013, director of the performing arts division at the Federal Academy for Cultural Education in Wolfenbüttel. Member of the ASSITEJ board from 1996 – 2016.
Anna Stegherr
born in Ulm in 1988, studied musical theatre and dramaturgy. Internship opportunities led her to Semperoper Dresden, Staatsoper im Schiller Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Stuttgart and Junges Nationaltheater Mannheim, among others. Between her study programmes, she served as an assistant director, stage manager and administrative worker at Stadttheater Ingolstadt. After two years as a dramaturge at Theater der Altmark Stendal, she joined the team of COMEDIA Theatre in the 2019/2020 season.
